Dr Gins berg is a general paediatrician in Wahroonga and Westmead. He is Head of Paediatrics at Sydney Adventist Hospital and also consults at Westmead Private.
A-Prof Payal Mukherjee MBBS, FRACS (ORLHNS), MS, PHD
This presentation will discuss common hearing disorders in children. Diagnosis and management with a focus on new innovations in this area will be presented.
A.Prof Mukherjee is an adult and paediatric ENT Surgeon specialising in advanced hearing and balance surgery. Her PhD is in personalised surgery for ear diseases. She is the Chair of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons NSW and the ENT Research Lead for the RPA Institute of Academic Surgery.
Dr Claire Irving MBChB, MRCPCH(UK), MD, FRACP
This presentation will outline challenging presentations in paediatric cardiology and common symptoms of cardiac disorders in children and teenagers. You will also learn about some indications for screening of family members, especially in the context of adult patients with cardiomyopathies.
Dr Claire Irving is a paediatric cardiologist based at both the Children’s Hospital Westmead and Sydney Children’s Hospital. She completed her paediatric and paediatric cardiology training in the United Kingdom with fellowships in the US and has been employed as a staff specialist by the Sydney Children’s Hospital Network since January 2015.
The ages and stages of sleep disorders in children

You will learn about the common presentations of sleep disorders in children along with it’s impact on health and how a sleep study (or other investigations) can help. Dr Mimi Lu is a paediatric sleep and respiratory physician based at the Children’s Hospital Westmead and Sydney Adventist Hospital.
Dr Lu’s interests include managing children with sleep problems ranging from snoring, obstructive sleep apnoea, restless sleep, excessive daytime tiredness, and parasomnias. She also manages paediatric respiratory conditions such as asthma, childhood wheezing, chronic cough, and congenital/genetic respiratory conditions.
