Functional Neurological Disorder Australia Forum

FND Australia Support Services Inc. [www.fndaus.org.au] is holding a Forum and workshop on Functional Neurological Disorder at Sydney University on the 10^th May.

A number of the key speakers come from the Northern Sydney area.

The forum is designed to increase knowledge and awareness of FND, and provide some insight about treatment options for FND.  The forum is being attended by health professionals, consumers and carers and also policy makers.  It is part sponsored by the NSW Mental Health Commission and SANE Australia.

Following the meeting the RANZCP will be leading a professional network meeting to discuss how we can advance FND services and awareness in Australia.  Currently there is no Government investment into FND.
