SNHN Nurse Network Wound Care Basics Parts 1 & 2

This workshop will be held over two dates: Tuesday 20 February and Tuesday 27 February 2024 and it is compulsory to attend both sessions.  You will be enrolled in both sessions as this is a two part series.  If you are unable to attend after you have registered, please let us know as soon as possible as this event has a waitlist and catering.  Proudly sponsored by Sanofi.

NOTE: this workshop is a repeat of the 2023 sessions held in July and October.

TARGET AUDIENCE:

Practice nurses working within the SNHN region.  This is an introduction to wound care and is suited to both EN’s and RN’s who are new to wound management or experienced RN’s who are looking to refresh to the latest wound care guidelines.

Session 2 – Tuesday 27 February 2024
Treating acute wounds
Managing burns in GP setting
Managing skin tears
Rolling skin tears
Practice using HEIDI and TIME on the dummy wounds.

COST:
There is no cost for Practice Nurses working within the SNHN region to attend this training
