TARGET AUDIENCE:

Practice Nurses from the Northern Sydney area who are new to wound care in the GP practice setting.

LEARNING OUTCOMES:
  • Managing burns in practice
  • Skin tears management and the STAR classification tool (Hands on education)
  • Post op wounds
  • Removing sutures and aftercare
  • Applying steri-strips
  • Basic introduction to dressings
COST:
There is no cost for participants working in the SNHN region.
