Medication Management Workshop: Reducing the risk of medication-related harm

SNHN invites general practitioners and pharmacists to an evening focusing on medication management.  This session will provide an opportunity to work collaboratively in identifying and solving medication-related issues and explore the benefits of home medication reviews.

SPEAKERS:

Dr Claire Chung: Dr Chung is an experienced General Practitioner with over 25 years of expertise in the field. She has developed a special interest in chronic diseases and aged care, and recently completed a Masters in Public Health, which has allowed her to become more engaged with population health. Dr Chung is also a valuable member of the Primary Sense Clinical Advisory Group, where she contributes her extensive knowledge and experience to the team.

Dr David Cosgriff: Dr Cosgriff graduated from Western Sydney in 2011. he has special interests in managing patients with complex needs, preventative medicine, travel medicine, men’s health, mental health and paediatrics and has completed a Diploma in Child health. David is a conjoint lecturer at Western Sydney University and works at Royal North Shore Hospital as a General Practice Liaison Officer.   Outside of work, David enjoys spending time with his young son and is an avid hiker, biker and kayaker.

TARGET AUDIENCE:

General Practitioners and Pharmacists working in the Sydney North Health Network region.

There is no cost to attend this training.
