Webinar: Domestic Violence training for GPs & health professionals: Prevalence, identifying, responding and safety planning utilising a multidisciplinary approach

This Domestic and Family Violence, through case scenarios, will give information on what Domestic Violence really looks like, including its prevalence in our society. It will cover identifying and responding to domestic violence, safety planning and documentation, the legal framework and working within a multidisciplinary approach. It will also outline domestic violence services available.

TARGET AUDIENCE:

GPs, Practice Nurses, Pharmacists, and health professionals

LEARNING OUTCOMES:
  • Explain the prevalence of domestic violence
  • Identify the barriers to disclosing domestic violence
  • Recognise the signs of domestic violence and how to respond appropriately
  • Describe referral options available
