Climate change and mental health webinar

Join us for this education session, with a focus on climate change and the impacts on mental health. This event is supported by the NSW/ACT PHN Disaster Management Network and is open and free to all primary healthcare providers.

The session will discuss:

  • the impacts of climate change on mental health
  • how primary care can recognise and respond to climate-related anxieties and mental illness
  • identify effective strategies to implement in practice to support patients and health professionals

Learning outcomes:

  • Discuss the impacts of climate change on mental health
  • Recognise and respond to climate-related mental illness presenting in patients
  • Implement effective strategies in practice to support patients and health professionals
