Dr Michele Puech – Medical Epidemiologist, Northern Sydney Public Health Unit and Sally Edwards – Immunisation Coordinator, Northern Sydney Public Health Unit.

TARGET AUDIENCE:

GPs only for this training.

LEARNING OUTCOMES:
  • Implement current Cold Chain requirements into Practice;
  • Awareness of No Jab No Pay legislation and the effect of this legislation on immunisation catch-up demands;
  • Clearer understanding of catch-up vaccination requirements for overdue children; and
  • Understanding the role of GPs in the provision of pneumococcal vaccine information and vaccination.
COST:
There is no cost for GPs within the Sydney North Health Network region to attend this training.
