TOPIC: Post Concussion Syndrome and the role of the vestibular physiotherapist

SYNOPSIS: 

Central vestibular complaints are a frequent consequence of concussion. The presence of dizziness predicts a protracted recovery.

This evening lecture will focus on the clinical aspects of concussion management including:

  • An overview of concussion
  • Identification of common vestibular conditions following concussion
  • Common ocular symptoms
  • Case study review

SPEAKER: Vanessa Simpson – Vanessa is a senior neurological and vestibular physiotherapist with over 15 years experience. She has extensive expertise across all areas of neurological physiotherapy and now specialises in vestibular rehabilitation.

TARGET AUDIENCE: Free evening lectures are open to all GPs, Specialists, Allied Health professionals, carers and individuals.
