Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cultural Safety Training for Health and Community Service Providers

Health and Community, human service workers (health staff, social services, Local Councils, NGOs) to a three module online course provided by Sydney North Health Network (SNHN).
Over these three modules you will gain in-depth knowledge and skills in addressing and working with patients from an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander heritage, providing a culturally respectful environment.
We will explore an introduction to Working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People in Health Care Settings, Social and Emotional Wellbeing in Aboriginal Communities and Optimising Cultural Safety for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples in Health Care Environments.

THERE ARE THREE PARTS TO THIS TRAINING – 6 hours in total
All three modules MUST be completed in this order to successfully complete the training course:
MODULE 1 – Online Training Module | 1 hour
MODULE 2 – Zoom meeting – Camera on for the duration (small group) | 3 hours
MODULE 3 – Online Training Module | 2 hours
NOTE: Once you have registered for this training, your registration will be assessed and if you are eligible to attend, you will be sent a confirmation email. This email will contain the details of how to access the online training module 1 and how to sign up for Module 2 – The Zoom meeting.
