The Hornsby Village Hub is a community-led initiative that brings older Australians together to stay socially connected, active, and involved in local life.
There’s no single venue. Instead, the Hub runs in friendly, accessible places across the Hornsby Shire – like libraries, cafés, community centres and parks.
Activities are shaped by members and designed to spark connection – from social catch-ups and hands-on workshops to opportunities to contribute, volunteer and be part of something meaningful.
Whether you’re looking to meet new people, try something different or simply get out and about, the Hub offers a welcoming space to connect.
With support from Hornsby Shire Council, Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital, the PCYC and local community groups, the Hub is built on collaboration and powered by the people who take part.
At its heart, the Hub aims to reduce social isolation and loneliness, support wellbeing and strengthen community ties. It’s free to join for anyone aged 55 and over.
As a member, you’ll be part of a growing local network that values connection, shared interests and a strong sense of belonging.
