At the beginning of 2026, Reconciliation Australia endorsed Sydney North Health Network’s Reflect Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP).
As a healthcare organisation committed to the wellbeing of all communities in our region, we are embarking on this Reflect RAP to deepen our understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, histories and perspectives.
Our Reflect RAP marks the beginning of this transformative journey. Through it, we seek to create meaningful relationships, show genuine respect and identify tangible opportunities to contribute to reconciliation within and beyond our organisation into the communities we serve.
The Plan also reaffirms our deep commitment to supporting First Nations communities and fostering a culturally safe and inclusive organisation. It lays the groundwork for embedding reconciliation into every part of our operations, ensuring that the healthcare we support and facilitate is grounded in authenticity, respect and cultural integrity.
