Ros Knight - Chair
Clinical and Counselling Psychologist
Ros Knight is an Endorsed Clinical and Counselling Psychologist with 30 years’ experience. She runs a private practice in Chatswood focused on adults and adolescents with a broad range of mental health issues, and lives within the Northern Sydney area.
She has over seven years’ experience as a Board Director and across her career has provided leadership and sat on many advisory groups within the Psychology Industry and Mental Health sector and has a broad understanding of current issues. She is a Past President of the Australian Psychology Society.
She has contributed to training and research as a Clinic Director of the Psychology Clinic at Macquarie University, including over 13 years, training up to 60 provisional psychologists per year, and forming a network of placement educators across Australia. Currently appointed as practitioner member of the Psychology Council.
She has over eight years’ experience as a Company Director and has completed the AICD training (GAICD), with additional training in NFP Boards. She has been involved with SNHN since its inception in 2015, initially on the Clinical Council and the Mental Health Advisory Group from inception until the end 2018, before being elected to the Board in 2019.
Dr Liz Marles - Deputy Chair
General Practitioner
Dr Liz Marles is a practising GP and Director of the Hornsby-Brooklyn GP Unit which also delivers the Bungee Bidgel Aboriginal Health Clinic. Her clinical interests are in marginalised populations and chronic and complex disease management.
In addition to her clinical work, Liz has a strong interest in health policy and is the Clinical Director for Primary Care at the Australian Commission for Safety and Quality in Healthcare.
She is a past President of the RACGP and has been a member of multiple government committees including the Pharmaceutical Benefits Advisory Committee and the Medicare Review Advisory Committee.
In addition to these roles Liz is an experienced company director and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Jodie Whybird
Elected Director – Registered Nurse
Jodie is a registered nurse and has been committed to delivering family and person-centred care to children and adults in the Northern Sydney Region for over 17 years. Jodie lives within Northern Sydney and currently works at the Hornsby-Brooklyn GP unit as a practice nurse.
She also works as a school nurse at a local private school. This gives her an excellent understanding of the demographics and requirements of the Northern Sydney community.
With post graduate qualifications in critical care and public health, Jodie has had leadership and clinical experience in cardiac rehabilitation, intensive care, the emergency department, and general practice. She has achieved an ‘Honorary Nursing and Midwifery Award’ for exceptional standard of nursing duties – implementation of innovative clinical practice.
Uniquely, now in the Hornsby-Brooklyn GP Unit she works at the interface of primary, secondary and tertiary care and has cross-sectional engagement with multiple stakeholders. She has a passion to enable positive health outcomes, for the Northern Sydney Community, that are equitable, strengths based and recognise the impact social determinants of health have on wellbeing.
Jane Flemming, OAM OLY
Appointed Director - Marketing and Community health
Jane Flemming has an extensive and high-profile career in elite sport, marketing, sponsorship, media and community health. With 13 Australian titles, 2 Gold medals, and 2 silver medals to her name, Jane has been a competitor or commentator at eight Olympic Games, five Commonwealth Games, a Youth Olympics and nine World Athletics Championships.
Jane was awarded the Order of Australia in 2013 for contribution towards Athletics and the Community; and received the 2019 NSW Government Community Services Award.
Jane is an accomplished sport, media and businessperson with demonstrated national and global sponsorship, management, event, marketing, public relations, media and community health experience. She set up a consultancy firm “Flemming Promotions” in 1990 and has successfully evaluated, negotiated and developed corporate sponsorship strategies and implemented major multi–million-dollar sponsorships on behalf of their clients, some of which are now held up as best practice examples.
Jane has developed a diverse network of influential individuals, organisations, and senior executives both in Australia and internationally.
An intelligent, goal-oriented, solution driven, passionate and energetic individual, with a record of high achievement and an excellent understanding of sport, community health, media, corporate environments and all levels of government and their interactions.
Sana Issa
Elected Director - GP Pharmacist
Sana Issa is an accomplished pharmacist and business leader with over 35 years of diverse experience across the community pharmacy, general practice, and IT development spaces. Particularly, through her role as IT manager at AMFAC, she developed a keen interest in the manner by which population data can assist with the understanding of various health needs.
Having then owned three community pharmacies for 16 years, Sana has a deep understanding of clinical service delivery within the community pharmacy setting.
Throughout her career, Sana has been involved in advisory committees with the National Prescribing Service (NPS), Pharmaceutical Society of Australia (PSA) & Wentwest PHN.
In her current role as GP pharmacist, Sana is responsible for clinical governance, quality improvement and risk management. She is passionate about advancing the quality of healthcare delivery and optimising patient outcomes within the primary care setting. Sana has been a driving force advocating for GP-Pharmacist collaboration to enhance patient centered care.
Kim Jeanneret
Appointed Director - Chief Financial Officer
Kim Jeanneret is a purpose‑driven Chief Financial Officer with a distinguished track record leading global organisations across a diverse range of industries. She has delivered significant business growth, strengthened organisational resilience, and advanced sustainability and ESG priorities through disciplined financial stewardship.
A forward‑thinking and tech‑savvy executive, Kim specialises in driving enterprise transformation through the adoption of innovative technologies, including AI‑enabled process automation and advanced analytics. She has led successful AI implementation programs to enhance financial accuracy, improve decision‑making, and uplift organisational efficiency.
Kim is deeply committed to strong governance and effective risk management. She has designed and embedded robust governance frameworks, strengthened compliance structures, and enhanced enterprise‑wide risk practices to support sustainable, long‑term performance.
Recognised for her hands‑on leadership style, Kim builds high‑performing teams and fosters a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. She partners seamlessly across all levels of an organisation, providing insightful commercial guidance that shapes strategic direction and enables successful execution.

Dr Jonathan Adams
Elected Director - General Practitioner
Dr Jonathan Adams is a GP and part-owner of Forest Family Practice, a 10 doctor General Practice in Frenchs Forest. He has worked as a full-time GP since 2008, having lived and worked on the Northern Beaches of Sydney for the last decade.
Jon was responsible for the establishment of Northern Beaches Hospital Medical Centre and served as the Clinical Lead for this service from 2018-2024.
Jon is a Fellow of the RACGP and remains active as a supervisor in Medical Education.
Paul White
Appointed Director - Data Science and Technology
Paul is a physical scientist by background and an experienced executive with a deep understanding of the challenges currently facing Government and healthcare, based upon 20 years of managing teams to deliver high quality outputs to clients in Australia, New Zealand, the Middle East, the UK, Europe and the USA.
Paul is experienced in health system planning and brings a wealth of knowledge of different operating models, pricing and funding frameworks across healthcare. His style is to work collaboratively with senior managers, and his operational experience is centred on ensuring good governance and appropriate strategic decision making.
His passions are bringing all available data sources together and using this to drive improvement and innovation using artificial intelligence, benchmarking and a person-centred approach. He places the quintuple aim at the centre of all his activities to provide a ‘system compass’ to any health improvement activities.
Sarah Barter
Appointed Director - Consultant: Consumer and Community Engagement BA (Psych), LLB, MPH
Sarah is an experienced Board Director appointed to the SNHN and Karitane Boards and previously to the St Vincent’s Clinic Board. She is also a consumer advisor for NSLHD. Sarah has over 14 years of experience working to improve Australia’s health and aged care sector, including 4 years as an independent consultant.
Before that, Sarah worked in management roles for NSW Health and HammondCare and was a sessional academic for Western Sydney University.
Sarah is passionate about partnering with consumers and communities to codesign and deliver better care and services for the population. She is particularly interested in designing strong governance and quality, safety, and risk management systems.
Sarah blends her personal and professional experience to drive the delivery of person-centred care for improving the health, well-being, and quality of life for people of the Northern Sydney region.
Growing up on Sydney’s North Shore, Sarah now lives with her two primary school-aged children in leafy Lane Cove. Outside of work, Sarah loves exploring the beautiful bushwalks in the area, yoga, and the beach!
Dr Margaret Bryce
Elected Director - General Practitioner
Dr Margaret Bryce is a GP owner of Bennelong Medical Clinic, a nine-doctor general practice in Gladesville, and herHealth, a multidisciplinary women’s health clinic in Gladesville. She is a member of RACGP and chair of the RACGP specific interest group Business of General Practice.
Margaret has been a GP in the Inner West and lower North Shore for over 35 years and is committed to the survival of general practice and the importance of trusting relationships between patients and their health care team.
She has worked in a variety of general practice roles, including 10 years in corporate medicine leading a large multidisciplinary team. She has studied and worked in the UK and in Ethiopia in the years following the famine and from has this has developed a strong understanding of the important cooperative role of healthcare in at risk and vulnerable communities.
Margaret is committed to the current and next generation of health care workers and her general practice cooperates with RACCP and universities to help education of medical students, nurses and mentoring of new RACGP graduates. She and her team have a strong focus on innovation and data in general practice and to help practitioners and patients embrace the rapidly changing challenges in healthcare.
