Primary Care Nursing Support in Northern Sydney
Sydney North Health Network (SNHN) is committed to supporting primary care nurses working across the Northern Sydney region. We recognise the vital role nurses play in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care and provide opportunities that strengthen professional practice, foster connections, and support ongoing development.
SNHN provides a range of initiatives designed to support nurses at every stage of their careers, including:
- Regular networking opportunities to connect with peers, share experiences, and build professional relationships.
- Education and professional development activities aligned with current best practice and emerging healthcare priorities.
- Training workshops and webinars that support clinical skills, leadership development, and quality improvement.
- Access to resources, tools, and information relevant to primary care nursing.
- Updates on local health initiatives, programs, and services to help nurses stay informed and connected within the region.
Stay connected
We encourage all primary care nurses working in the Sydney North region to engage with our events, education programs, and professional networks to stay informed, connected, and supported in their role.

Primary care nursing can be both rewarding and challenging. Our networking events provide opportunities for nurses to come together, exchange knowledge, discuss common challenges, and learn from colleagues working across general practice and other primary care settings.
