Urgent care for people living in the Northern Sydney region

Urgent care is when you need medical attention for an illness or injury that can be managed without a trip to the emergency department but cannot wait for a regular appointment with a general practitioner (GP).

This may include minor fractures, sprains, sports injuries and neck and back pain, urinary tract infections (UTIs), sexually transmitted infections (STIs), minor cuts, minor eye and ear problem, respiratory illness and more.

It helps to reduce pressure on hospital emergency departments, allowing them to focus on higher urgency and life-threatening conditions.

If you or a loved one has a life-threatening injury or illness, do not attend an Urgent Care site. Do not attend an Urgent Care site for chest pain or tightness, breathing difficulties, uncontrollable bleeding, severe burns, poisoning, numbness or paralysis, ongoing fever in infants, or if the patient is unconscious, unresponsive or having seizures. Call triple zero (000) or go to your nearest emergency department.
