GP Liaison Officers (GPLO’s) Royal North Shore Hospital

GP Liaison Officers are GPs working in the hospital system with the aim of improving communication and collaboration.

They can provide direct liaison to GPs who ask for guidance or express concerns regarding the Outpatients Department, examples include:

  • Rejected referrals where a reason is not provided
  • Service navigation
  • Delays where there is clinical risk

A quarterly newsletter ‘GPLink‘ that outlines service changes and other information is available, email the above address to be added to the distribution list.
