Improve pneumococcal and COVID vaccinations for vulnerable patients

SNHN, in partnership with GoShare, invites general practices to register to participate in recall programs aimed at enhancing patient care and increasing vaccine uptake in the region. 

Eligibility:

• Patients aged 70 years and over who are eligible for a free NIP-funded pneumococcal vaccination 
• Patients aged 75 years and over who are eligible for government-funded COVID-19 vaccination 

Recall system 

Practices will have access to an SMS-based recall system to remind eligible patients about the vaccination.  

Cost 

All costs associated with this recall program and SMS bundles are covered by Pfizer Australia.
