SYNOPSIS: 

Total Shoulder Replacement, Dr David Duckworth MBBS FRACS
Learn the indications for a primary total shoulder replacement, how the surgery is performed and options for postoperative rehabilitation.
Dr David Duckworth is a shoulder and elbow surgeon practising at Sydney Adventist Hospital. He has a strong interest in shoulder replacement surgery and trauma surgery with a particular focus on the clavicle. Dr Duckworth has specialised in total shoulder replacement over the last 17 years and undertakes ongoing research in his key areas of interest.

Reverse Shoulder Replacement, Dr Matthew Sherlock MBBS FRACS FAOrthA
Learn about reverse shoulder arthroplasty, why we do it and how to rehabilitate patients.
Dr Matthew Sherlock is an orthopaedic surgeon based at Sydney Adventist Hospital. He specialises in sports injuries, trauma and joint replacement of the shoulder and elbow. His particular interest is in minimally invasive techniques for shoulder and elbow surgery resulting in improved patient recover times.

Following the presentations attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a hands-on skills session simulating a shoulder replacement using saw bones.
