The Australian Commission on Safety and Quality is looking for expression of interest

The Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care is getting together focus groups to gather clinician and patient/public views on the types of information they want to know about the safety and quality of their health services, and how this can be made easily accessible and useful to them.

Expression of interest

If you are interested in participating in one of the focus groups outlines below, please send an email to sqis@safetyandquality.gov.au as soon as possible.

Clinicians that are not residents in one of these capital cities but are interested in participating are encouraged to contact them if they are willing to travel in order to attend a focus group.

  • Perth – 8 May 2018, 7.30am-9.30am
  • Sydney – 10 May 2018, 6.00pm-8.00pm
  • Brisbane – 14 May 2018, 7.30am-9.30am
  • Melbourne – 16 May 2018, 8.30am-10.30am

Participants will be paid participation fees in accordance with Remuneration Tribunal Determination 2017/10: Remuneration and Allowances for Holders of Part-Time Public Office https://www.legislation.gov.au/Details/F2017C00955.

The total fee to be paid to participants is $401 (excl. GST) to cover participation in and travel to and from the focus groups. If participants are based in a regional, rural or remote area, the Commission may cover the cost of extended travel (to be decided on a case by case basis).
