SYNOPSIS:

The Allergy, Asthma & Clinical Immunology Service at The Alfred is the largest adult service of its kind in Australia, accepting referrals from across Victoria.

Audience: General practitioners and general physicians who manage patients with allergic conditions.
Format: The day will take the form of a workshop with a major focus on interactive case discussions of important allergic presentations, developed with GP input.
Topics include: Upper airway allergy, asthma, drug allergy, food allergy, paediatric allergy, anaphylaxis & venom allergy, allergic skin conditions, occupational & environmental allergy.

Faculty: Dr Julian Bosco, Dr Ryan Hoy, Dr Sam Mehr, Dr Joy Lee, Dr Celia Zubrinich, Dr Rob Puy. Additional faculty to be announced shortly.

COST:

$132.
Early bird: $88 until 31/1/2019.
Includes morning tea, lunch and course booklet.

CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT:

This activity has approval by the RACGP for 40 Category 1 points for the 2017-19 triennium: Activity number 88722.

You will be sent a predisposing activity prior to the course which will need to be completed and returned before the program commences. Instructions for returning the activity will be included on the activity. Upon completion of the course you will be asked to complete a reinforcing/follow-up activity.

To qualify for 40 Category 1 points with the RACGP, participants must complete the predisposing and reinforcing activities and the feedback form.
