SNPHN held their AGM & Taking Care of BASICs: Optimal Wellness for GPs & Health Professionals on the 15 November

SNPHN held their AGM on the 15 November.  The event saw GPs and Health Professionals come together for an evening of networking and keynote presentations discussing the importance of Taking Care of BASICs: Optimal Wellness for GPs & Health Professionals. The topic was timely, with a number of health professional stories on stress and burnout in the workplace published recently in the media.

The evening was facilitated by GP and medical advisor across the ABC and Channel 9, Dr Brad McKay.  Keynote speakers included mindfulness teacher and consultant Jean Watson and Professor Simon Willcock, GP and SNPHN Board member, who gave insightful talks on Practitioner Wellbeing.
