Small Actions: Big Difference- a Dementia Awareness Month Event.

SYNOPSIS: 

Professor Kurrle is the eminent voice on dementia. She will speak to the community about how we can make a positive difference to the lives of people living with dementia, their  carers and families.

Small Actions: Big Difference encourages us to consider the small actions people can take to
create a big difference to the lives of those people impacted by dementia.

Susan Kurrle, MD, PhD is a medical specialist in geriatric medicine practising at Hornsby
Ku-ring-gai Hospital in Northern Sydney and at Batemans Bay Hospital in Southern NSW. She holds the Curran Chair in Health Care of  Older People in the Faculty of
Medicine at the University of Sydney where she leads the NHMRC Cognitive Decline
Partnership Centre.
