Rural Health Webinar Series – Care of the critically unwell child

This instalment of the Rural Health Webinar Series will explore care of the critically unwell child, including cardiac arrest, severe breathing difficulty, sepsis, neurological emergencies, neonatal emergencies, and red flags for severe illness.

This webinar will be facilitated by Dr Andrew McDonald, who has been a paediatrician in Campbelltown since 1990, training in both Australia and the UK. He works one day per week at Tharawal Aboriginal Health service, teaches medical students, instructs on Advanced Paediatric life support courses, and is an examiner for the College of Physicians. He was also the MP for Macquarie Fields from 2007 till 2015, including roles as parliamentary Secretary for health and shadow health Minister while continuing his medical work part time for those years.
