A Reminder : Child and Family Health Services (Early Childhood Health Centres)

The Child and Family Health Service is a free service available to all NSW families and caregivers with children from birth to school age. There are 20 Child and Family Health Centres (Early Childhood Health Centres) located in the Northern Sydney Local Health District.

These Centres have Specialist trained registered nurses working within them. The nurses have advanced knowledge, skills, and experience in   child growth and development, parent-child relationships and healthy family environments.

GPs can direct their patients to the service or phone and talk with a nurse about issues such as feeding a baby or child; a child’s growth and development, as well as support or information on a range of other parenting issues such as children’s sleep, behaviour, nutrition, play, safety and more.
