SYNOPSIS:
Central vestibular complaints are a frequent consequence of concussion. The presence of dizziness predicts a protracted recovery.
This evening lecture will focus on the clinical aspects of concussion management including:
- An overview of concussion
- Identification of common vestibular conditions following concussion
- Common ocular symptoms
- Case study review
SPEAKER: Vanessa Simpson – Vanessa is a senior neurological and vestibular physiotherapist with over 15 years experience. She has extensive expertise across all areas of neurological physiotherapy and now specialises in vestibular rehabilitation.
