SYNOPSIS:
A foundation level course on aspects of palliative care for people with a life-limiting illness from the perspective of a specialist palliative care multi-disciplinary team.
Participants will be introduced to both physical and psychosocial aspects of care for patients with palliative care needs and their families, with a focus on needs assessment strategies.
For health professionals in acute, chronic, aged care and/ or palliative care settings with limited palliative care knowledge or experience.
Morning Tea provided.
COST: 1 Day Course $165 + GST; 2 Day Course $275 + GST.
