‘No time for never’: Women’s health campaign launched by the Australian Government

A new health campaign to increase women’s uptake of exercise and sport will be launched today by the Minister for Health. Sussan Ley.

The ‘No time for never’ campaign attempts to combat the sedentary lifestyle as well as change behaviour so women, particularly women over 35, make their health needs a priority.

Health Minister Sussan Ley said more women neglected their health while working longer hours and juggling hectic family lives.

Ms Ley said that women risked major health problems if they did not put aside time to exercise.

The campaign is being launched on World Osteoporosis Day.
