Women’s health is a broad branch of medicine focusing on the treatment and diagnosis of diseases and conditions that affect a woman, both physically and emotionally.

This activity has a focus on common gynaecological conditions seen in general practice. Topics will span infertility, endometriosis and prolapse.

Endometriosis and laparoscopy – when, what, after?

Endometriosis & Pelvic Surgery Specialist, Laparoscopic & Robotic Surgeon
Dr Choi is a gynaecologist with ten years training in gynaecology and minimally invasive surgery. She has special interests in pelvic pain and endometriosis, hysterectomy, menstrual disorders and abnormal vaginal bleeding, myomectomy (removal of fibroids), and pelvic floor disorders.

Prolapse – surgical management

Gynaecologist, Specialist Laparoscopic & Robotic Surgeon
Dr Yang is a fully qualified robotic surgeon and is currently a consultant gynaecologist, holding the highest level of surgical accreditation (RANZCOG Level 6) for laparoscopic surgery. She has special interests in endometriosis, pelvic floor repairs, pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, large fibroids and pelvic pain.
