Share your expertise and enthusiasm for education and Embracing the Future by presenting at GPTEC2016. The program has a mix of old and new options for sharing ideas and experience including workshops, papers and posters. New short form presentations include pitch sessions with presenters giving a 5-minute talk and the audience will participate with 10 minutes of ideas and feedback. Or consider an unplugged workshop with no audiovisuals or tech. Perhaps submit one of the education workshops you already run for registrars or colleagues.
You may submit abstracts in the following categories:
- Poster presentation
- General short talk
- Research short talk
- Standard workshop, and
- Unplugged workshop.
Your abstract must align with one of the three conference sub-themes:
- Embracing ideas – explores areas of technology and innovation, the use of different training platforms and methods
- Embracing diversity – explores the areas of learner support – early assessment and support, Registrars with cultural and language diversity, Indigenous Registrars, supporting Registrars with difficulties and Registrars who are high achievers
- Embracing each other – explores learning from each other, learning by participation and Medical Educator peer support
