This learning opportunity provides GPs with a holistic understanding of the role of modern radiation therapy in the management of keratinocyte carcinoma and skin field cancerisation.
Program overview:
The program is divided into four modules. You’ll be able to complete modules 1-3 at your own pace. Each module will take approximately one hour to complete.
Module 4 is an interactive webinar with a radiation oncologist, providing an opportunity to engage with the specialist on real-world case studies.
- Module 1: Introduction to Keratinocyte Carcinomas and Current Treatments: incidence, risk factors, societal and patient cost, subtypes, treatments and the concept of skin field cancerisation.
- Module 2: Advances in radiation therapy and its clinical application to different presentations of keratinocyte carcinomas including skin field cancerisation.
- Module 3: Management of Radiation Side Effects plus the Patient Referral and Treatment Pathway
- Module 4: Interactive radiation oncologist led webinar to consolidate learnings from modules 1-3, using lesion, regional and field cancerisation case studies with an opportunity for Q&A.
