This free, 90-minute online session is for healthcare professionals (nurses, GPs) to discuss updated pneumococcal vaccination strategies.

The resurgence in invasive pneumococcal disease is driving rising hospitalisations and preventable morbidity in infants and young children. Despite improved vaccine access and higher-valent options, many children remain under-protected. Led by an expert faculty, this session will clarify current recommendations, identify who remains at risk, and provide simple, repeatable strategies to support earlier protection. With a strong focus on real-world application, the session will support clinicians to translate vaccine availability into consistent delivery in practice, reducing missed opportunities and improving timely protection.
