EOI: Clinical Attachments with the Local Health District Drug and Alcohol Service

Sydney North Health Network (SNPHN) is seeking expressions of interest from GPs who are interested in completing a Supervised Clinical Attachment with Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD) Drug and Alcohol Services.

To be eligible, GPs must be willing to participate in shared care arrangements with the support of Addiction Medicine Specialists and Addiction Psychiatrists. Patient suitability will be at the discretion of the GP.

Venues:

  • Royal North Shore Hospital
  • Brookvale Community Health Centre

Clinics

  • Drug and Alcohol Outpatients – RNSH
  • Drug and Alcohol Inpatients (IDAS) – RNSH
  • Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) – RNSH and Brookvale Community Health Centre

Once you have returned this form you will be contacted by Pat Simmonds who will send you the clinics timetable.

CPD Points: CPD Accredited Activity points (by self-notification) are available on completion of 10 hours of training. To gain points you are required to set learning goals with the specialist/s and complete summaries after each session.

Remuneration: GPs will be remunerated at $168 per hour. If the clinic hours total slightly more than 10 hours e.g. 12, you will be paid the difference.
