WEBINAR – Dementia Webinar: Behavioural and Psychological symptoms associated with Dementia

Sydney North Health Network (SNHN) invites local General Practitioners, Practice Nurses, Pharmacists, Allied Health Professionals and aged care staff to a webinar on the Behavioural and Psychological Symptoms associated with Dementia (BPSD).

Participants will modernise skills in assessing and treating the most common behavioural and psychological symptoms associated with dementia, including the impact on family or carers. Participants will also differentiate the effectiveness of both pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments, and design and appropriate management plan for patients with dementia who may develop BPSD.

Dr Allan Shell | Academic GP (UNSW Sydney)

Dr Shell is an UNSW Academic GP and Adjunct Senior Lecturer to the School of Psychiatry’s Dementia Collaborative Research Centre, and to Dementia Training Australia at La Trobe University.

TARGET AUDIENCE:

GPs, Practice Nurses, Pharmacists, Allied Health Professionals and aged care staff.
