WEBINAR – Bench2Practice: Reasons for getting up-to-date with your booster

Moderna Australia are pleased to invite you to this bench2practice educational meeting.

The meeting, entitled “Reasons for getting up-to-date with your booster” will review the pandemic in Australia through the lens of SARS-CoV-2 evolution and the driving forces behind the need for boosters.

The presentation will also explain the rationale for next-generation ‘bivalent’ boosters and review the safety and immunogenicity data for Moderna’s newly registered bivalent Original/Omicron COVID-19 vaccine.

SPEAKERS:

Ruby Pandher | Medical Science Liaison

Ruby joined Moderna Australia as a Medical Science Liaison in April 2022. Currently her focus is to develop and maintain relationships with key healthcare practitioners to support the scientific communication of Moderna’s   COVID-19 mRNA vaccines. Prior to joining Moderna, Ruby spent 10 years as a Senior Research Officer and Conjoint Lecturer at the Children’s Cancer Institute / University of NSW. In this role, Ruby served as a conduit between pharmaceutical companies and clinicians in leading key translational research projects to test novel therapeutic oncology agents in high-risk childhood cancer models. Ruby holds a PhD from the Institute of Cancer Research, UK.

TARGET AUDIENCE:

GPs, Nurses, Pharmacists, Allied Health Professionals, Residential Aged Care Facility Workers and their staff working in the Sydney North Health Network region.
