WEBINAR: Calm Under Pressure

14 October 2026 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Please join us in celebrating Allied Health Professions Day 2026 and the extraordinary contributions of allied health professionals working across primary care settings in Northern Sydney. This year, we warmly invite you to an online wellness session – an opportunity to pause, reflect and recharge.

Calm Under Pressure is a one-hour masterclass in staying grounded when it matters most. In this engaging webinar, discover what happens in the brain and nervous system under stress and how this can influence our emotions, behaviour, decision-making and performance. Learn to recognise stress signals, use practical body-based strategies to regulate your nervous system, and leave with practical tools you can apply at work and in everyday life.

Date:

14 October 2026

Time:

7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of the session, participants will be able to:

  • Describe how the brain and nervous system respond to stress and how this can influence thinking, emotions, behaviour, decision-making and performance.
  • Identify their own nervous system signals and identify when pressure is shifting them from a state of connection towards protection.
  • Apply the simple Notice, Nudge, Navigate framework and practical body-based strategies to regulate their nervous system and stay calmer, clearer and more grounded under pressure.
