  • Dr Brad McKay. Dr Brad McKay is a regular medical advisor across the ABC and Channel 9. Studying Medicine at Monash University, he has worked with Aboriginal Communities on the Central Coast of NSW and at Naas General Hospital in County Kildare, Ireland, as an Emergency Medicine Registrar. In 2013 he became a Medical Expert and Host of the Logie nominated television program ‘Embarrassing Bodies Down Under’. Dr Brad has recently commenced hosting an HIV Podcast series in partnership with Gilead.
  • Jean Watson. Jean Watson (BSc, MSc, Dip. Ed, MSt in MBCT) is an internationally trained mindfulness and compassion consultant, with a particular interest in mental health. Studying Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) at Oxford University, she has delivered training programs with health workers and educationalists in the UK, Australia and Bhutan. Jean is part of the Oxford MYRIAD research project on mindfulness, compassion and resilience in adolescents and has developed the first MBCT training program for 4-8 year old children, linking it directly to the Australian School Curriculum.
  • Professor Simon Willcock. Professor Simon Willcock is a local GP with extensive experience in clinical practice, medical education, primary care research, organisational governance and medical workforce development. His education and research interests include the health of doctors and generational change in the medical workforce.

GPs & Health Professionals

  • Promote health provider self-awareness to maintain optimal wellness including balancing home and work demands
  • Recognise the difference between caring about yourself and self-diagnosis or self-treatment
  • Develop a comprehensive health plan to address all of your health domains
There is no cost for GPs, Primary Care Nurses, Pharmacists and health professionals working within the SNPHN region
