Shared Antenatal Care Accredited Activity (face to face)

Sydney North Health Network (SNHN) invites local GPs to an interactive day of Shared Antenatal Care education.  Topics will include lactation issues, neonatal checks, safer baby bundle and risk stratification and care pathway for pregnancies at risk of fetal growth restriction.

Important Notice: This face-to-face workshop will adhere to the NSW Health Guidelines and requirements.  Masks may be required to be worn and all delegates and trainers will need to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 in order to gain access to this event in accordance with current NSW Government requirements.  Proof of vaccination will be required. If you are experiencing any respiratory symptoms or are unwell, please do not attend this education event. If an SNHN event is cancelled due to the requirements of a NSW Public Health Order participants will be informed.

LEARNING OUTCOMES:
  • Implement current antenatal management guidelines in accordance with NHMRC Antenatal Guidelines
  • Demonstrate competency in performing neonatal checks
  • Recognise when to refer following a neonatal check
  • Implement standard tests during pregnancy
  • identify which pregnancies are suitable for symphisio-fundal height (SFH) measurements alone to assess fetal growth
