GPs, GP Registrars, Practice Nurses, Pharmacists, Allied Health Professionals and Practice Staff are invited to a networking dinner focused on team-based approaches to managing acute, complex, and chronic back and neck conditions.
This interactive evening will feature practical presentations and case-based discussion showcasing how coordinated, multidisciplinary care can improve outcomes for people experiencing back and neck pain and other spinal concerns.
Attendees will gain insights into collaborative, wrap around models of care, explore local referral pathways and contribute ideas for improving access to multidisciplinary care across the region.

Speakers:
KEYNOTE SPEAKER:
Prof Simon Willcock is a General Practitioner, academic, and medical leader with extensive experience in primary care, clinical education, and health system improvement. He has a strong interest in integrated, multidisciplinary approaches to improving outcomes for people with complex, chronic, musculoskeletal and spinal conditions and is actively involved in teaching and mentoring health professionals.
PANELLISTS:
Bridget Dean is a Physiotherapist with expertise in the assessment and management of musculoskeletal and spinal conditions. She works with multidisciplinary teams to support improved function and recovery and is passionate about helping people manage complex and chronic conditions.
Dr Bhisham Singh is an Orthopaedic Surgeon, practising at locations across Sydney. His special interests include all aspects of spine surgery and spinal disorders, including adult and paediatric spine deformity and degenerative cervical and lumbar conditions.
Dr Tom Wang is a General Practitioner with interests in chronic disease management, mental health, and work-related spinal injuries.
Chris Basten is a Clinical Psychologist with expertise in health psychology. His areas of interest include adjustment to injury, alongside eating disorders, anxiety, and depression. He works primarily in private practice, while also consulting to an interdisciplinary surgery team and delivering training to health professionals.
