Electronic Referrals for Medical Specialists

Join us for a deep dive into the core features of sending and receiving electronic referrals.

This session is designed to be interactive where participants are encouraged to ask questions and raise any issues.

The session will be helpful for practices using Genie software and also for practices not using Genie software. Practice Managers welcome.

You will learn:
• How to use a safe and secure method to communicate patient information directly with other healthcare providers.
• Using Genie software to demonstrate generic functionality.

Local Medical Specialists and Practice Managers practicing in the Northern Sydney Region.

• Learn where to find electronic referrals that have been sent to you in Genie software and the HealthLink Portal.
• Learn how to make a patient record from the electronic referral.
• Learn how to send an electronic referral to another specialist using the SR HealthLink SmartForm.
• Learn how to include attachments in electronic referrals.
• Learn how to check the delivery status of referrals you have sent.
