SPEAKERS:

Lindsay Tighe
Lindsay is the founder of Inspirational Coaching and Better Questions and is a successful and highly regarded speaker, business woman, coach and author of eight books. Before finding her true passion in life, Lindsay worked for over 20 years in the corporate world, both in the UK and Australia. She had many leadership roles developing people skills and improving workplace cultures. Lindsay holds an MBA from Macquarie Graduate School of Management and regularly speaks at a variety of functions. She has also been appeared on Channel 7’s Sunrise and Morning Show and has been featured in Women’s Day, Good Medicine, New Idea and the Qantas in flight magazine.

TARGET AUDIENCE:

Local General Practitioners, Practice Nurses, Practice Staff and Allied Health Professionals practicing in the Northern Sydney Region

LEARNING OUTCOMES:

By the end of this activity, participants will be able to:
• Recognise habitual patterns of response in our conversations
• Identify the impact of “asking” versus “telling” and the principles of asking Better Questions
• Implement using Better Questions in practical scenarios
• Be able to better handle resistance to the approach
• Identify listening tips and traps
• Develop skills to ask Better Questions
