Sydney North Primary Health Network (SNPHN) invites GPs and Primary Care Nurses to Essential ECG Reading training. Can you recognise a dangerous arrhythmia? Do you know the correct lead placement for taking a 12 lead ECG? Consolidate and update your ECG knowledge and skills at this two hour workshop.

This activity has been allocated 4 category 2 points under the 2017-2019 RACGP QI&CPD Program

SPEAKERS:
  • Royce Webb, Cynergex National Training Manager, Diploma in Paramedical Sciences
    Royce is an experienced paramedic who delivers advanced life support training to medical and
    dental professionals nationwide. He has extensive knowledge of pre-hospital care in the management of major incidents and trauma.
TARGET AUDIENCE:

GPs and Primary Care Nurses

LEARNING OUTCOMES:

On completion of this course, participants should be able to:

  • Correctly identify normal aspects of ECG and deviations
  • Identify 13 arrhythmias in practice
  • Identify STEMI and Non STEMI
  • Understand 12 lead placement and aspect view
COST:
There is no cost for GPs and Primary Care Nurses within the Sydney North Primary Health Network region
