Digital Health in Practice

Regular training in use of My Health Record via medical software is available this year. Come along to increase your confidence using My Health Record and improve your practice’s data quality.

Have you uploaded and viewed Shared Health Summaries or viewed pathology and imaging reports on a patient’s My Health Record? This hands-on training session will demystify the process, providing you with more confidence using My Health Record.

Small group – maximum 15 participants. BYO laptop if desired.

Sue Cummins, Train IT Medical, (BA, Dip IT, TAE40110)

Sue’s background is in the private sector in IT Management roles focusing on software systems delivery and project management. Sue is a Train IT Medical Senior Trainer, working closely with medical practices to improve their use of technology and meet accreditation requirements. Sue specialises in quality improvement projects, Aboriginal health and process improvements for risk minimisation and efficiency improvements.


GP, Practice Nurses and Practice Managers.


By the end of the training, participants will be able to:

  • Access a patient’s My Health Record and upload a Shared Health Summary and Event Summary
  • Access and utilise reports related to My Health Record and quality improvements
  • Develop a plan for their own practice data to meet safety, accreditation and practice incentive requirements
No cost for in-area GPs and health practitioners.
