Diabetes Therapies – New Injectables and Oral Combinations

Open to GP, Practice Nurses, Pharmacists and allied health professionals

Sydney North Health Network (SNHN) invites local GPs and Practice Nurses to a workshop which will present newer therapies available for managing diabetes, how to choose between therapies, combinations of glucose-lowering therapy within the PBS and the role of injectable therapies for diabetes. We will cover how to refer patients to the SHAKE Healthy Weight Clinic at RNS Hospital, outcomes for patients and how this approach to weight management can be adopted by general practice.

  • Provide a multidisciplinary approach to weight loss and prescribe & oversee a very low energy diet

There is no cost for GPs or health professionals working within the SNHN region
