CPR Training for general practice

Sydney North Primary Health Network (SNPHN) warmly invites local GPs and General Practice staff to a CPR workshop which delivers the essential principles, skills and knowledge to maintain or restore breathing and circulation in an adult, child or infant. The course content is based on the policies and standards of the Australian Resuscitation Council and the guidelines of the RACGP.

TARGET AUDIENCE:

GPs and General Practice staff

LEARNING OUTCOMES:
  • Systematically and effectively identify and manage hazards prior to applying CPR to the cardiac
    arrest patient in the general practice setting
  • Safely manage the airway of an unconscious patient using barrier devices and techniques set out in the ARC guidelines
  • Safely apply CPR procedures including the delivery of effective ventilations and compressions
COST:
No cost for GPs and health professionals practising within the SNPHN region
