Dr Victoria Phan | Avant Risk Adviser
Victoria assists members and practices to identify any factors which could be exposing them to medic-legal risk and recommends strategies to manage these risks and minimise the likelihood of having claims or complaints. Victoria is a General Practitioner in current practice and enjoys a holistic approach to looking after patients and their families. Victoria is passionate about supporting and advocating for doctors at all career stages with a keen interest in medical education.

Angela Mason-Lynch | Avant Risk Adviser
Angela has extensive experience managing practices of various disciplines and sizes. A past State and National AAPM President, Fellow, Life Member and Certified Practice Manager. Angela has experience as a Board member and expert committee member for multiple bodies in healthcare. Angela has experience as an accreditation surveyor and as an assessor and trainer for University of New England Partnerships. She is a Registered Nurse with a post grad certificate in nursing management, a diploma in practice management and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

  • Identify emerging risks from the Covid-19 Vaccine clinics and understand how to mitigate
  • Describe the recent changes to the MBS item numbers and when to apply these
  • Outline strategies for managing the constant changes and communicating these to the team and their patients
