Considerations for End of Life Planning for People with Intellectual Disability – PART 2

Sydney North Health Network (SNHN) and the Northern Sydney Intellectual Disability Health Service (NSIDHS) invites GPs, Nurses, Pharmacists, and Allied Health Professionals to part two of this two-part webinar series: Considerations for End of Life Planning for People with Intellectual Disability

This webinar will address how to apply an Ethical Decision Making Framework that includes conversations, consent and supported decision making to end of life planning for people with an intellectual disability.  Appropriate and timely referrals to palliative care will also be discussed. NOTE: It is NOT a requirement to have attended Part 1 of this training.

  • Identify the role of appropriate, timely and effective referrals for palliative care in people with intellectual disability
