Online AOD & Mental Health Balint Group

Tue 7th June 2022 @ 1:00 pm

GPs with an interest in mental health and/or alcohol and other drugs (AOD), addiction specialists, and psychiatrists are invited to join an online Balint Group facilitated by a psychoanalytic psychotherapist who has many years of experience running these groups.

About Balint Groups
Balint Groups seek to build a community of doctors who support and encourage each other in their work with patients. They are well known for helping clinicians reflect on their practice and discover new perspectives on clinical dilemmas, leading to increased work satisfaction, reduced burnout, and better outcomes for patients. For more information on Balint Groups click here.

To build group trust and cohesion we would like people to attend regularly, however you are also most welcome if you can only attend occasionally.

To join the group, please contact Pat at psimmonds@snhn.org.au
