GPs are invited to the APAC forum. This event will include presentations by APAC on services available including referral pathways and the medical model evaluation. Keynote presentations include an update on Travel Medicine as well as Lower Leg Cellulitis: Common Mimics.

TARGET AUDIENCE:

GPs.

LEARNING OUTCOMES:
  • Identify and describe common travel vaccines.
  • Demonstrate great confidence when providing travel vaccinations for patients.
  • Recognising the diagnosis of cellulitis is incorrect in up to one third of patients, list what other conditions should be considered.
  • Demonstrate how a medical history and a careful physical examination can usually point to the likely alternative cause for the symptoms.
  • Explain the various available APAC services and referral pathways.
COST:
There is no cost for GPs working within the SNHN region.
