THIS EVENT IS FULLY BOOKED

Sydney North Health Network (SNHN) invites local GPs, Primary Care Nurses, Practice Managers, Practice staff and Allied Health Professionals to develop and apply understanding of Aboriginal cultures to improve service and health outcomes. Completion of this TAFE module helps to achieve cultural awareness, and with application of the knowledge, improves cultural fitness. Further elective subjects are available.

The online pre-course component takes approx. 2-3 hours. The face to face workshop builds on this online work. Both must be completed to receive 12 Cat 2 RACGP CPD points.

All practices registered for the Indigenous Health (IH) PIP are required to participate in cultural awareness training within one year of registering.
