Early-bird registration has been extended RANZCP Section of Youth Mental Health 2020 Conference

The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) Section of Youth Mental Health are delighted to announce that registration is now open for its 2020 conference. The conference will be held at Novotel Sydney Manly Pacific, NSW from Friday 6 March – Saturday 7 March 2020.

The theme, ‘Coming of age’, acknowledges the maturing of the youth mental health field into an internationally recognised area of clinical and scientific endeavour.

Registration
Early bird conference registration Has been extended into the new year. Book at the discounted rate before Friday 24th January 2020.

Program
The Organising Committee have planned a dynamic and exciting preliminary program which is now available on the conference website. The outstanding line up of presentations and discussions will include, but are not limited to:

• A Keynote address from Professor Patrick McGorry
• Climate change and mental illness
• Family approaches to developing systems of safety around young persons
• Trauma and psychosis

Pre-conference workshop
Orygen, The National Centre of Excellence in Youth Mental Health will be delivering a pre-conference workshop on The Comprehensive Assessment of At Risk Mental States (CAARMS). Workshop registration is optional and can be completed when registering for the conference or separately.

Social Program
Take in the spectacular seaside atmosphere at the Novotel Sydney Manly Pacific Beach Bar with the company of your colleagues at the complimentary welcome reception on Friday 6 March 2020.
